Overlanding isn't just a hobby—it's a way of life. As a U.S. Army Veteran and the founder of Spent Brass Offroad, I've always been driven by a passion for adventure, self-reliance, and exploring the places less traveled. The lessons I learned through military service—preparation, resilience, attention to detail, and teamwork—continue to guide me both on and off the trail.

My journey into overlanding started with a simple desire to get away from the crowds and experience the outdoors in a more meaningful way. What began as weekend camping trips quickly evolved into a passion for building capable rigs, testing equipment, and helping others discover the freedom that comes with off-road travel and vehicle-based adventure. Over the years, I've spent countless hours exploring backroads, remote campsites, mountain trails, forests, and deserts, learning firsthand what gear works, what doesn't, and what truly stands up to the demands of real-world use.

At Spent Brass Offroad, my mission is simple: provide honest, experience-based insights for fellow adventurers. Every product, accessory, and piece of gear I recommend has earned its place through actual use and testing. I don't believe in promoting products simply because they're popular or because someone is paying me to do so. My reputation is built on trust, and I only stand behind brands and equipment that I would confidently use for my own family, friends, and adventures.

Whether it's rooftop tents, awnings, recovery gear, portable power solutions, refrigeration systems, camping equipment, or off-road accessories, I believe gear should be reliable, functional, and built to perform when conditions get tough.
